Credit: Samir HusseinThe Who wrapped up the first leg of its Moving On! orchestral tour on Thursday in Pittsburgh, and the band will now take a break before playing a one-off concert on July 6 at London’s Wembley Stadium, followed by a second North American leg that kicks off in September.

Keith Levenson, the Moving On! tour conductor, says The Who may add brand-new songs from the studio album the band’s been recording to its set by the time the London show rolls around.

“There will definitely be some tweaks for the Wembley show because we may have a few songs from the new album by then,” Levenson tells Billboard. “And I assume by the second North American leg, we might play a couple as well.”

While The Who’s 2019 shows feature a different orchestra at each stop, Levenson says there’s a surprisingly short rehearsal before each concert. According to the conductor, on a show day, he and the orchestra will rehearse for about two-and-a-half hours that morning, then The Who will do a half-hour sound check, and the band and orchestra will rehearse for 30 more minutes together.

The concerts begin and end with orchestral sets that include several songs from The Who’s classic rock operas Tommy and Quadrophenia, respectively. In between, the band plays a set without the orchestra that features hits and deep cuts. Some of the songs are done acoustically with singer Roger Daltrey and guitarist Pete Townshend, and others feature the full group.

The Wembley Stadium show will feature a number of opening acts, including Pearl Jam‘s Eddie Vedder, Kaiser Chiefs and Imelda May. The band’s next North American leg kicks off September 3 in Toronto.

No word yet on when The Who’s upcoming album will be released.
