Credit: Karsten SteigerSince 2017, Foreigner has occasionally played special shows featuring performances by the band’s current lineup, as well as by key former members, including original frontman Lou Gramm. Now the veteran rockers have lined up a new four-date series of these concerts for this fall, dubbed “Double Vision: Then and Now.”

The shows are scheduled for October 3 in Uncasville, Connecticut; October 4 in Atlantic City, New Jersey; October 12 in Tuolumne, California; and October 13 in Ridgefield, Washington.

Besides Gramm, the Foreigner alums who’ll take part in the shows are original keyboardist Al Greenwood, founding multi-instrumentalist Ian McDonald and longtime bassist Rick Wills. Original drummer Dennis Elliott, who participated in previous reunion gigs, hasn’t been confirmed to play the upcoming concerts.

Previous “Double Vision: Then and Now” concerts have featured a set by the current incarnation of Foreigner, a set by the band’s former members — along with founding guitarist and main songwriter Mick Jones — and an encore featuring all of the musicians onstage together.

Foreigner’s 2019 tour schedule features a variety of North American headlining shows this month, August and September, as well as a summer tour of Europe that includes a number of orchestral shows.
