A post on the Neil Young Archives website reports that Young “will be devoting the rest of this year to Shakey Pictures projects that deserve our focused attention to complete and deliver at their highest level.”

The message adds, “Bringing you all of the footage Shakey Pictures has collected through the years is a pleasure to us. We are combing through and completing.”

The post also features what Neil says is “an incomplete list” of current projects: There are 15 titles, one of which is the recently reported documentary about the making of the Colorado album.

Among the other films in the works are archival concert films capturing performances with Crazy Horse from 1976, the 1987 tour, the 2002-2003 trek and the 2012-2014 tour, and solo shows from 1971, 1978, 1983, 1999 and 2003.

Additional flicks include one focusing on the 1971 sessions for Neil’s classic album Harvest, which he recorded with his backing group The Stray Gators; and an animated film called Trans 2020, that, according to RollingStone.com, Willie Nelson‘s son Micah is creating using music from Young’s 1982 album Trans.

As previously reported, Young has just two confirmed 2019 performances on his schedule: September 14 at the inaugural Harvest Moon: A Gathering benefit show in Lake Hughes, California, and September 21 at the 2019 Farm Aid festival in East Troy, Wisconsin.
