Berrien County Register of Deeds Lora Freehling is seeking reelection.

Freehling has served as the register of deeds since 2018 and says she wants to continue making Berrien County residents her top priority. She says in “addition to recording, retrieving, preserving and protecting land records, transparency of the office, integrity of the land records, and education are important facets to serving as register.”

Freehling says she has an open-door policy for all residents and will continue to be available to them when she’s needed. She adds it’s an honor and a privilege to serve the county.

Freehling and her husband live in Lincoln Township with their two dogs.
