The Lake Michigan College Alumni Association is seeking nominations for its 2024 Alumni Awards.

LMC says nominations for the Gladys Peeples-Burks Alumni Service Award, the Clarence Beckwith Distinguished Alumni Award, and the Alumni Achievement Award must be received by May 29.

The Gladys Peeples-Burks Alumni Service Award is given to an alumnus who has offered significant contributions to LMC or the community.

The Clarence Beckwith Distinguished Alumni Award is given to an LMC alumnus who has accomplished success in their personal or professional endeavors.

The Alumni Achievement Award is presented to a recent alumnus who attended LMC within the past 15 years, demonstrated significant achievement, and distinguished themselves in their career, education, or community.

LMC says it will take nominations via email, and we have the address at our website.

To nominate an individual for the 2024 LMC Alumni Awards, please email Rita Whise, LMC’s Manager, Alumni Development & Foundation Scholarships, at rwhise@lakemichigancollege.edu or complete and submit the Alumni Award Program Nomination Form at lakemichigancollege.edu/alumni-awards.  

The winners will be announced in October.
