Saturday will be Kids Day at the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship.

The PGA has teamed up with the Curious Kids Museum and the YMCA of Greater Michiana for the event to be set up at the Kids Zone in Jean Klock Park throughout the day. Anyone age 15 and under is welcome to stop by the zone for a variety of fun activities.

The YMCA’s Ryan Kitron told us what they’ll have.

It’s a great opportunity for families that are coming out to the event with their kids,” Kitron said. “It gives them an opportunity to step away from the golf tournament and let the kids have some fun. Our Kids Zone will have bounce houses, we’ll have craft activities, STEM opportunities, and we’re also partnered with the Curious Kids Museum. They’ll be doing their own STEM activities and the PGA brings in some of their inflatable stuff to do some golf stuff as well.”

The YMCA is providing some general fun, while the Curious Kids Museum is offering up some educational activities.

Kids Day officially kicks off at 9 a.m. with the annual KitchenAid Smoothie Race at the KitchenAid Fairway Club. That’s where kids can experiment with making their own smoothies.

Later on, there will be activities with the Renaissance Athletic Club, a magic show, hitting bays, the bounce house, craft stations, and the Curious Kids Museum STEM tent featuring fun science-related activities.

Sunday will also bring Zeke the Wonder Dog showing off his amazing frisbee tricks.
