Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagicThe nine-year-old kid who went viral on Twitter last month for her enthusiastic drum cover of Nirvana‘s “In Bloom” brought her skills to daytime TV Monday.

Nandi Bushell, who hails from Ipswich, England, guested on today’s episode of Ellen to once again rock along to “In Bloom.” Prior to her performance, she chatted with host Ellen DeGeneres about her love of drums, and said she was first inspired to play by The Beatles legend Ringo Starr.

You can watch the interview and the performance now streaming on YouTube.

Video of Nandi’s “In Bloom” cover first surfaced in November, and featured the young musician drumming along to the grunge classic while using drum sticks that look like kitchen knives and screaming intermittently. The video’s been retweeted over 13 thousand times, including by Nirvana’s official account.

By the way, Nandi isn’t the first kid drummer/Dave Grohl fan to show up on Ellen. This past May, another nine-year-old, Yoyoka Soma from Japan, guested on the show to drum along with “The Pretender,” by Foo Fighters.
